- All representatives and Senators need to be primarily (80% of the year) located in their district. Voting would done electronically (a.k.a. remotely). This would allow for better representation, more work for lobbyists, and reduce paper waste.
- No law / statute / resolution (henceforth referred to as "act") can be brought to vote until X hrs / word have elapsed. This would allow elected officials to read an act before it is voted on.
- No judge, agency, or committee shall make decisions based on international law or consensus unless it is a treaty that has been formally ratified by Congress. All previous decisions and precedents that violate this law would henceforth be null and void.
- No publically elected official (e.g. president, vice-president, senators, and representatives) may receive a pay or salary increase in any year that taxes have been raised.

Great laws - I especially like the idea of 'no pay raises in the same year as tax increases'. I might go so far as to use 'term' instead of year.
